The bright morning sun spills in from the terrace archway and washes over her body, the warmth it provides paling in comparison to the warmth of the one that she knows to be holding her. Slowly blue slitted eyes open, squinting against the light before it becomes too much and she shifts her face down towards Andr’ial’s chest in an attempt to drown it back out. The fuzziness of sleep lifts, pulling the veil from her awareness as she remains curled tight around the silver haired figure’s built frame.
The events of the night before drift back in while she holds as firmly onto her captor as he holds her in return and along with the memories comes the hurt for what she’d seen. How those creatures can treat her people as they do eludes her… the cruelty and disregard in their pupiless eyes more than she should ever have had to bear witness to. They are terrible… so terrible and she is unsure if she will ever be the same. It is madness to her, the way they treat her kind and she doesn’t understand how they can hurt a race that she’s been told did nothing to them to begin with. She tried to endure, but she is sure that she will not be able to continue enduring should she be taken to that place again.
She hopes that she will never again have to stand before those creatures and she’s finding herself so grateful that Andr’ial has ceased treating her as she’d seen many of the other Sirens be treated just as she is grateful that he holds her now. For the first time since she’d been taken from her home, she feels safe within his arms and after the preceding night, it’s a feeling she never wants to have end.
Andr’ial slowly wakes as Ati’yya shifts, moving in closer to him as he holds her. A small smile plays on his lips, happy she is with him and that she wants him so close. “My beautiful little fish…” He buries his face into messy sky blue locks. “I will keep you safe, always.” She lifts her head with his words, slitted blue eyes still bloodshot from the night before peer up into pupiless white. Eventually she will understand him and he will be able to tell her just how happy she makes him. He lifts her chin, placing a soft and gentle kiss on full lips before moving to sit up, lifting her into his arms as he does so.
The only way they can get past is to continue on as they were. He wants to see her smile again. Webbed fingers thread into silver strands as Andr’ial stands, Ati’yya’s head resting on his shoulder while he carries her from the bed to her small pool. Amused white eyes look over to blue and without a word, he jumps into the chilly water with her in his arms.
The cold liquid splashes out onto the white marble floors as their bodies sink into the pool, the horned man’s bare feet hitting the bottom decorative tiling before he pushes them both up. Blue slitted eyes meet white once they’ve broken the surface, the drenched strands of wet silver hair strewn over her captor’s face and draping the long ridged horn so amusing that she can’t help the smile that comes to her face or the laughter that spills from her full lips. With her legs still locked around his waist, she slips her hands free of his neck and slides webbed fingers up while he wades over to the shallow end of the pool in order to continue supporting them both, his own smile forming at the amusement reflected at him in his Siren’s face. The very tips of delicate claws begin the task of brushing tangled strands of silver away from Andr’ial’s features while her own sky colored locks float out across the surface of the sun lit water all around them.
Her sky colored gaze follows her own movements as she tends to him, a soft smile painted on her mouth at the way the one holding her seemed able to dull the ache in her heart over all that she’d seen and all that happened with this one gesture he’s made.
Andr’ial watches her face, so intent on her task with the look of happiness painted over pretty features that he missed seeing for even a day. Once she’s finished removing the majority of his hair away from blocking his vision, he jumps up, lifting Ati’yya and tossing her backwards into the water where she lands with a small splash. Sky blue locks streak behind as she flips and swirls in the water, closing her eyes and drowning out all the terrible things she’d experienced.
White eyes follow her and she moves so effortlessly. How beautiful she would have been swimming through the ocean, something he hopes he can see one day. Webbed fingers reach out for his legs and she guides herself up until she is once again in his arms. Andr’ial holds her close, kissing her forehead as she leans into him, sighing with contentment. Andr’ial finds himself falling for his beautiful Siren, an emotion that could very easily turn to love. He smirks to himself, finding it amusing that it's taken a creature so far removed from his own to get him to even consider the thought. Though until they can communicate better, it will be hard for him to understand how she feels in return.
Full lips find the space just beneath the horned man’s jaw and she kisses him softly before nipping with delicate fangs in a way that pulls a quiet sound from his mouth. She laughs a chirping laugh at the reaction before hopping up in his grip to wrap her legs around his waist once more while her hands begin combing back long wet silver hair.
Again the feelings of protection and contentment washes over her as her fingers move across Andr’ial’s skin, her slitted gaze shifting to meet pupiless white before traveling over the contours of his face. Even though this man had forced her choice of mate by taking her from her home, and even though she’d hated him for it at first… the longer she remains in his care the more she realizes those feelings have faded. She does not feel hatred anymore for him, she has long since lost the feelings of repulsion he brought to her at first and with him, she is realizing that what she’d told In’irda is true and that she has been growing fond.
She is happy in his presence in a way she could never have been before. He offers her now, everything a true suitor would offer and she is willing to accept him as such because of it. She does not want to be a pet, she does not want a master, she does not want to be a slave… but a companion as she has been told he wishes to become.
Ati’yya’s eyes slide up to meet the horned man’s gaze once again and the smile on her lips fades a little as the movements of her fingers still before she leans in to touch her mouth to his, finding herself hoping for the first time since she’d been brought to this land that he wishes for what she wants as well.
Andr’ial brings her in close, wrapping his arms tightly around her as they kiss, so happy in what they now share. He carries her out of the pool, water streaming from both in rivulets across sun warmed white marble as he makes his way to the bed, continuing in the routine they have both grown to enjoy. Ati’yya clings to him as he sets her down, smiling at her reluctance to let go until she finally does and he moves to retrieve a soft cloth and a bottle of oil. He runs the fabric over her skin lightly to absorb the excess water as she turns to lie on her stomach.
White eyes run over her curves lovingly, until he realizes blue eyes are watching him as well. “You make me so happy, little fish…” He leans in, whispering into her lips before they meet in a soft kiss.
Lingering for several moments, Andr’ial finally pulls away, placing some oil in his hands before he beings to spread it across her skin. He starts at her feet, massaging every webbed toe and indent before slowly working his way up her calves. He studies every part of her, wanting to etch her form into his memory so that even when he closes his eyes, she’ll continue to remain there.
